Mano/Mundo/Corazón: Artists Interpret La Lotería is an art exhibition that brings together over 60 contemporary artists whose works reference the popular Mexican game La Lotería and is set to open at Columbia College Chicago’s Center for Book & Paper Arts.

La Lotería, the Mexican game of chance (similar to Bingo), has a centuries-long social history and a broad reach in contemporary art. In recent years, an increasing number of artists have used the iconic images of the Lotería cards as a subject in their artworks either to communicate an entire worldview or as a lighthearted diversion.
